Assignmet 2 ; My Personal Website

Hye, now its turn for my personal website. i likely to call it my portfolio. because in the future, if i want to go to any job interview i just tell them to open my website on the time i interview. which make it a lot easier to bring a pile of file and paper to the interview. so in this digital media class. its my first time to make my own website. so here we go.

My personal website consist 4 buttons.
which is :

-interest
-resume
-contacts



For home page. i put side by side multiple image of mine. i used a lot of touch up in photoshop cs4 which i learn in the class. it helps me alot. for the background wallpaper i used brush and some colour adjustemnt in photoshop. i take the same image for the banner and put 'SyazliAnwar portfolio'.


For blog page. i connect the button to my personal blog which is this blog. when user click on the BLOG letter. it will directly connect to this blog. so its much easier for anyone to find any details about me.

For interest page. i put my details on what i like to do during my free time and my interest since i kid.its just a simple page so that the user will easily know what i like. its more white space. it give more clearity in what i'm trying to tell people.


For resume page. i put all resume and most of the achievement i;ve received since my secondary school untill now.
For contact page. i put a 3 hyperlinks which is my facebook account, twitter and tumblr account. when a user click on the image they will directly link to the URL of each account. i use icon rollover on the image, so when somene move the muse cosur onto the image. the image will turn intu greyish colour. thus the user know when the cursor can click on the image to the link.

Final E-wallpaper completed

This is my final e-wallpaper. And it is now complete. Enjoy =)

Advance layering

for advance layering, i use the adjustement > curve. this is to make sure that all the colour, saturation and brightness are well blend

as for the beginning, i use outer glow for the 'date'. when i use outer glow, the wording will be more clearer to see. thus, it easy for people to read it.

Layering Basic

As we can see, i use the grass picture as i poster background

then i put the student graduation picture and did some saturation adjustment on the background so that the colour will perfectly blend with the other picture

for the first layer words, i use font " arial rounded MT bold " for MMU and Faculty of Management. i also put together with the mmu logo

and for the final layering, i complete the info which i put where and when the FOM open day will gonna held.

New raw picture as a background

Fyi, i've choose a new raw picture for my poster background

Use selection tools and remove background

As you can see, i use selection tool (magic wand) to delete and remove the background for all the raw picture.

First i choose the part which i want to delete or remove

Then, after i select, there will be a dotted lone along the part we want to remove. On the selection part, we must be careful and slowly so that the part we want to remove can be smoothly choosed.

Last, i press "delete" so the the white part been remove.

i do the same routine to all three raw picture.
